Other amenities include Men’s & Ladies’ locker rooms, a pub-style restaurant with a 25-person horseshoe bar, booth and community table styled seating and a covered outdoor patio with unrivaled lake views.

Golf

A fixture atop the annual best of lists both nationally and in the state of Georgia since it’s opening in 1997, Cuscowilla delivers an authentic golf experience that appeals to the golfer seeking to enjoy the game in its most natural setting. Brought to life by the renowned design duo of Bill Coore and two-time Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw, Cuscowilla delivers a stunning golf canvas that allows golfers to truly immerse themselves in the golf experience. Here, you’ll take in expansive views of Lake Oconee, navigate through towering Georgia pines and maneuver through beautiful native grasses on a layout that requires players to employ a variety of different shot types. Cuscowilla also encourages players to walk the golf course in order to truly appreciate the game the way it was meant to be played in a scenic, unspoiled setting.

In addition to world-class golf and our trademark laid-back Southern Hospitality, Cuscowilla members enjoy a variety of amenities that blend seamlessly into the natural landscape of the community. Members enjoy a lakefront swimming pool with pool cabana and outdoor seating, community boat docks, dog park & community garden, four pickleball courts, two tennis courts, playground, basketball court, tether ball and a 24 hour fitness center. Lake Oconee is also highly regarded for excellent bass fishing and all types of boating activities, which the Central Georgia moderate climate allows for year-round.

Membership at Cuscowilla is contingent upon the successful transaction of Real Estate within the gates of the community. We are currently on a wait list for all Non-Resident memberships.
